2026 has already been a busy year! Now that it’s March, I’m finally finding the time to write my first blog post of the year.

I’ve settled into my new role at Gallup, reacquainted myself with a new old city, and moved into a new apartment. And if that wasn’t enough to keep me busy over the past three months, I’ve also been a guest on a really cool podcast, given a talk nearly halfway around the world, and had an academic paper accepted to a scientific conference.

Until now, life has been bumpier for longer than I expected. I’m longing for some calm amid the chaos and looking forward to finding a routine again.

It may be a little late to say “Happy New Year,” but I’m finally slowing down enough to catch up. Anyway, more soon, and hopefully sooner than three months from now.
