Ready! Set… Grow!

This is my first blog post. Why a blog??? Why now??? My mantra is “Return the gifts life has given to you.” I have learned a lot in my design life and it’s time to share. So, here we go.

Being a designer is a tough job and I hope that I can help you navigate the challenges we face as designers. I currently work as a designer at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. Before joining JPL, I worked as a multidisciplinary designer in Silicon Valley tech companies. In this blog, I will share stories, insights, musings, and tips. Like this one:

I wish someone told me early in my career that the hard part of a designer’s job is the people — people are involved in all parts of the process, which can be challenging. With the rise of Al, advancements in technology, and setbacks from COVID-19, we are growing further away from each other. The ability to connect with others is needed more now than ever.

I hope you find my posts valuable. Enjoy!
